A new addition to the Bestiary and also a creature which we will see in the next chapter. The alluring and somewhat dangerous Alraune.

Making Magic 2

Hello again everyone. I was hoping not to post one of these so soon but yeah. Since it has been over a month since I made any updates to this blog, I felt I should fill in any of you on the progress of things.

Main Story
Chapter 8 of Something Wicked is coming along but some progress has been slow. I haven't had writer's block or anything but I've been busy with other projects. Since I am an artist on various websites, I've had various pictures I've been drawing and finishing up that have been making the writing process a bit slow for me. However, you should see chapter 8 within the next two months if things go well and hopefully chapter 9 as well. Lordryunson has been working on chapters 10-12 along with several chapters later on. I've read through many of them acting as editor and making sure things work out and fit into both the world and plan for the story.

Expanded Bestiary and Character Profiles
I have several bestiary pics that I've yet to post but will be doing so later this week. Additionally after talking with Lordryunson, I plan to also release profiles on this blog for characters that have yet to show up in the main story yet. I refrained from doing this to avoid giving away spoilers such as upcoming heroes, forthcoming villains, and other such issues. However, I've also reasoned that possibly many people maybe coming from my DeviantArt or FurAffinity galleries where I've already posted these profiles so what the hell. Besides, I'm not giving away everything.

"Updating the Grimoire" Posts
Another form of status progress posts(sort of) which will be coming up soon. Updating the Grimoire will contain updates on previous blog posts like an added subspecies in an expanded bestiary post or new additions to the Gods of Asnorit posts. Speaking of which...

Gods Among Us
Or also Expanded Pantheon will be another picture series much like the Expanded Bestiary where I will post profile like pics of the Gods of the SW universe, containing the prominent depictions of the gods, their symbols, and with main Asnorit Pantheon, their corresponding animals.

Artists of the World
Another pic series or rather more of showcase, Artists of the World will contain pics made by other artists. I sometimes commission other artists who I like and have commissions available. Recently I've been commissioning pics of Something Wicked Characters and creatures, sometimes even having them interact with the artists own original characters. Some of these will be tame while others will be on the more raunchy side. please look forward to these new posts.

More to the World: Dwarf Writing and Runes

A little something I felt like posting to give you guys some more aspects to the world. A look at the dwarven writing and the symbols used in their form of rune magic.

First we have the dwarven alphabet here. Some of these letters arranged in the proper order with the rune can produce a powerful spell. This alphabet is also of course used in writing messages in dwarven. Although, I haven't had a chance to figure out the dwarf language fully, this is at least a start.

Making Magic Update 1

Hello everyone. I may do this from time to time a little segment I'm calling Making Magic. It's something of progress report for the site for those who maybe waiting on stuff. Currently, I'm working on few different things for Something Wicked; the Main Story, Character Profiles, and Bestiary.

The Main Story
At the moment, I'm working in the middle of Chapter Seven and will hopefully have the chapter posted presumably this month. Afterwards, I will get right to work on Chapter Eight. Lordryunson has been working on Chapters 10 and 11 and run a few scenes for chapters further down the line by me. You guys will be in for a real treat with those.

Character Profiles
While there are some character profiles I haven't posted yet since they are characters who would spoil points in future stories. I will have some to post further when those chapters come up. I'm currently working on pics of villain profiles such as as a Dwarven King, his soldiers, and a few other future villains along with some side characters.

Bestiary
While I've posted the bestiary previously on the Blog, I'm going to expand upon it with pictures of the creatures and monsters that inhabit Asnorit. I've got a few creatures I've already done lineart for and will probably have them later.

There's some stuff you guys can look forward to see you guys later when I make some new posts and when I talk about making some more magic.
